Osplay is an audio player that supports changing the speed of the audio without altering its pitch (provided that that audio is in MP3 or Ogg Vorbis format). It is primarily intended for playing back audiobooks or podcasts, though it is not a podcatcher. It also features bookmarks and history, like most audiobook players. It can load an entire album all at once, or all works by a single artist, to then be played in sequence.

There is a trial version available that occasionally plays an audio advertisement for the full version and is limited to speed multipliers of between 0.8 and 1.25 (the full version supports 0.4 to 2.0, though anything below 0.6 tends not to sound very good and faster hardware is required to speed up more).
